The proliferation of Swiss and international financial regulations has made the legal and compliance tasks of Swiss financial institutions much more complex. The responsibilities inherent in regulatory obligations have also increased in recent years, requiring financial institutions to have strengthened legal skills, appropriately designed risk management and effective internal controls.
Since 2013, GCG has been offering advisory services on compliance and financial regulations. We offer a professional and independent support and financial establishments in order to work effectively the regulatory requirements as well as solutions and targeted responding to the specific needs of our customers. GCG provides its services in the form of one-off support – Consulting – (e.g. implementation of a new regulation) or long-term support – Outsourcing – (e.g. outsourcing of control functions or tax reporting).

Guillaume de Boccard

• Guillaume de Boccard is admitted to the Bar of Geneva and holds a MBA from INSEAD (FR).
• He gained specific experience practicing at the Geneva Bar, working at Credit Suisse in Zürich and as a member of the legal and regulatory project team at Pictet & Cie, where he worked specifically on the Rubik, FATCA, Cross-border and CFTC projects.
• He founded de Boccard Conseil SA in response to the growing demand for complying with new financial regulations and to develop a constructive, fruitful and long-lasting collaboration with financial institutions and intermediaries.
• Guillaume de Boccard is managing partner of Geneva Compliance Group, a company that provides compliance consulting and tax reporting services to financial institutions since the merge of de Boccard Conseil SA.
CFO & CTO

Michel Chauvet

• Holder of both MSc-in-aeronautics and MBa diplomas
• With an engineering background, Michel started his career for Accenture as a business analyst and then moved on to Credit Suisse and UBS to implement IT solutions as a business analyst.

• Understanding both technical and business languages, he co-founded of Geneva Compliance Group SA in 2014 as creating internal solutions for CRS & FATCA reporting.
• As the company grew, he assumed the role of COO, overseeing the day-to-day business as well as being the technical counterpart in a compliance environment.

Aline Fournier

• Holder of both an attorney-in-law diploma and a master from a business school (FR)
• With her consulting experience at the Swiss law firm Lenz&Staehelin as well as at EY (Ernst&Young), Aline Fournier is now directly involved in GCG's consulting services related to the implementation of new regulations in the financial sector.
• Prior to joining GCG, Aline Fournier was Head of Legal and Compliance within a Swiss fiduciary company belonging to the TMF Group, which operates internationally. She supervised the activities related to AML, CRS and FATCA regulations as well as risk management. She was also in charge of Business Continuity Management and will therefore be able to contribute her experience to all issues related to business continuity.

Nick Morrell

• Holder of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the UK as well as being a qualified Chartered Accountant and recipient of a Diploma in Risk Management.
• With almost 15 years’ experience at the Geneva asset management firm Fundana SA where he was responsible for Risk Management and Operational Due Diligence, Nick Morrell now runs the Risk Management function at GCG, assisting clients with both outsourced risk management functions as well as more punctual advice.
• Prior to joining Fundana SA in 2008, Nick spent 5 years working for PwC in the UK, where he worked on both audit and corporate tax engagements for a broad range of clients.

David Jimenez-Pont

• David holds Master degree in International Trade and Investment Law from Catholic University of Lyon (UCLY) and National University Of Ireland Maynooth (double degrees) and a Bachelor degree in Law from UCLY – combining Common Law and roman Law understanding.
• Over 5 years in law practice, David starts his career in a law firm as trainee lawyer at LightHouse LawFirm, specialised in EU customs law, where he starts auditing exporting and importing companies on EU customs law aspects.
• After working for 1 year at a Broker’s legal Department (Business Lines – where he acquire insight in the legal framework around various financial products and services), David joined GCG in 2021 where his first mission was to provide support, to defend and to represent EAMs and Trustees (over 30 mandats) in their FINMA’s authorisation process.
• Today, he is developing GCG's Risk Department in order to provide quality risk management services (2nd level) to EAMs and Trustees of various sizes. The aim is to give them a better understanding of their risks and to propose recommendations for mitigating them.
Senior Legal & Regulatory Manager

Elena Roshchina

• Elena holds LLM degrees from both MSU and UNIGE and has gained specific experience as a Legal & Compliance Officer while working in the banking industry in Geneva, at CIM Banque SA and J.Safra Sarasin SA. Her expertise lies in LBA, CRS, FATCA, and cross-border matters.
• Since joining GCG in 2021, she has become an expert in FinSA and FinIA. She advises Asset Managers and Trustees during their FINMA authorization process, acting as the client’s representative in communication with the regulator.
• Inspired by the idea of sharing knowledge, she has given lectures on Banking and Financial Law at the Swiss School for International Relations and mentored students in the Law Faculty at the University of Geneva.
• Interested in the implementation of new technologies in the financial industry and their regulation in Switzerland, Elena is also a certified specialist in Crypto Compliance.

Aurélie Ayzac

• Aurélie holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from International University Geneva and two Bachelor’s degrees (B.A), in International Relations and Economics, Webster University.
• Aurélie is Head of Compliance at GCG and heads the Compliance team.
• She enjoys over 18 years of experience in the fields of governance and compliance, she has accumulated extensive knowledge of local and international regulations.
• Aurélie began her career as a Compliance Officer with ABN AMRO Bank in Geneva where she specialized in the fight against money laundering with a particular focus on high-risk customers/markets.
• She then joined Reyl & Cie SA as Compliance Officer and was appointed Chief Compliance Officer & Group. She was in charge of consolidated supervision according to regulatory requirements, contacts with supervisory authorities in Switzerland and abroad. She successfully participated in obtaining their banking license in 2010.
• Since 2011, she held the key role of Head of Compliance and has advised the senior management of renowned Swiss private, European and foreign banks.
• Aurélie was most recently Head of Compliance at Bordier & Cie where for 8 years she ran the Compliance department.
• She is uniquely qualified to effectively identify regulatory challenges and to advice you in order to design or optimize your internal control system and support its continuous implementation according to industry best practices. She will assist you at consistently developing your compliance framework and transforming your operating model so that Compliance becomes a strategic advantage.

Valéria Baumann

• Valéria holds a degree from Sciences-Po Paris and certificates in risk management (Essec-IMD) and tax compliance.
• Valéria has over 20 years' experience in banking and financial compliance. She began her career with American Express in Paris before moving to Geneva in 1998, where she was Compliance Officer for various Swiss banking and financial institutions.
• She was head Compliance of a Swiss collective asset manager before joining Geneva Compliance Groupe in 2022.
• She acts as Risk and Compliance Officer for Geneva Compliance Group's outsourcing mandates to fund managers, asset managers and trustees.

Sabrina Vargas

• Sabrina holds a Master's degree in European Union Law
• She worked for 12 years as Compliance Officer and AML Manager for an independent asset manager in Geneva.
• She now acts as Compliance & Risk Officer for Geneva Compliance Group's outsourcing service for financial intermediaries. She is also involved in advising clients on AML and due diligence matters.

Julie Bozzetti

• Julie enjoys over 13 years of experience in Swiss private banking.
• At the start of her career, she completed a banking apprenticeship at UBP, which gave her an insight into the workings of a bank’s departments and practical experience in different areas. She then specialized in Compliance.
• Today she acts as Compliance Officer at Geneva Compliance Group for the mandates of various financial intermediaries.
• Prior to joining GCG, she worked for 10 years as Compliance and AML officer at Union Bancaire Privée and Mirabaud. She was in charge of all AML related activities and participated in the implementation of various Compliance projects.

Nicolas Roncalli

• Nicolas is head of the team reporting FATCA and CRS within GCG
• He advises clients on FATCA and CRS compliance and regulatory issues
• He also provides FATCA/CRS solutions, reporting and sponsorship services
• His role includes monitoring regulatory oversight of tax issues
• Finally, he advises and helps to implement FATCA certifications
Reporting & Data Manager

Michael Rogers

• Michael is the holder of a diploma in Business marketing and communication as well as various compliance certificates.
• Michael Rogers is the Data and Reporting Manager at GCG, with over 7 years of experience in Compliance, particularly in FATCA and CRS, but also in sponsoring and advising on reporting.
• Before joining GCG, Michael held the position of Compliance Assistant for 5 years within a Trust of the Geneva financial center where he dealt with compliance in general (CRS, FATCA, risk management, LBA and KYC regulations). He was also in charge of the customer relationship for 1 year (Trust assistant). As a result, he was able to touch many areas within the compliance and he is now specialized in FATCA and CRS reporting.
Reporting & Data Analyst

Francesca Coss

• Holder of a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management and German with bachelor studies in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security.
• Prior to joining GCG, Francesca Coss gained her experience in data handling and analytics in various dynamic roles before more recently working in a position assisting in Compliance for a Geneva based Trust Company where she dealt with FATCA, CRS, AML, and KYC.
• As a Reporting and Data Analyst, Francesca is now involved in supporting the team in data management as well as FATCA and CRS reporting.
Office Manager

Muriel Crelier

• Muriel has over 20 years of experience as office manager, including (but not limited to) reception, human resources, archiving, event organisation and administrative follow-up
• She spent her first 15 years in medical services, more specifically in paediatrics and consolidated her field experience completing an additional training in administrative management
• Muriel joined GCG in 2019 and is responsible for all administrative matters as office manager. She has a particular affinity for people and social matters

Jariya Seynave

• Jariya embarked on her journey in Geneva in 2016, arriving with dream and determination and immediately got acquainted to the local culture by learning French.
• She started a job in 2017 to improve her my French level and on the other hand, learning how to serve customers. Additionally, been working in this role and want to further develop her skills and decided to do an apprenticeship.
• Despite facing a brief period of unemployment, she heard of training opportunities supported by the government.
• She is now an apprentice in Geneva Compliance Group SA as an employee of commerce, marking a turning point in the career path that she has always dreamt of.
